This unit describes the qualities of both good teachers and also good learners, and the roles both play in the classroom. The large takeaway from this unit for me was the focus on how flexible and fluid a teacher's role needs to be in a classroom. Whether its the age group they're working with, their language proficiency, or even just what activity is being performed, in order to get the best results from their class, they need to be able to decide which of the five roles will best fit.
