Role of the teacher Teachers play vital roles in the lives of the students in their classroom. The most common role a teacher plays in the classroom is to teach knowledge to children. Teachers are encouraged to adapt learning methods to each individual student's learning,to challenge and inspire them to learn. Teachers observe and evaluate a student's performance and potential. Three of the main roles is to maintain the students to develop their ability and aspiration to learn, they are fair and they have knowledge of their subject, most teachers take on a variety of roles with in the classrooms. The Role of the teacher within the classroom is going to be very wide and they will have to change the moment to moment. there are as follows: 1) The Manager: The teacher is actually managing what is going on particularly in the classroom. The teacher is in complete change of the class, what students do ,what they and how they say it. In the classroom, the teacher is mostly the center of focus, There is also a perception that this role could have a lack of variety in its activities. 2) The Organizer: The teacher is acting as an organizer, in this stage. The organizer can also serve as a demonstrator, this role allows a teacher to get involved and engaged with learners. The teachers also serves to open and neatly close activities and also give content feedback. 3) The Assessor: The role of an assessor gives teachers an oppurtunity to correct learners feedback and correction are organized and carry out. The teacher encourage students to participate and make suggestions about how students may proceed in an activity. The prompter can encourage by discreetly nuding students. The prompter in this regard can prompt but always in a suppotive way. 5) The Participant: In this role, improves the atmosphere in the class when teacher takes part in an activity, However, the teacher takes a risks of dominating the activity when performing it. If the teacher is able to stand back in a class and not become the centre of attention, it can be a great way to interact with learners without being too over powering. The teacher therfore becoming the part of the class itself and it called that participant. 6) The Tutor: This role is to explain something, when working with individual or with small groups. The teacher is acting more as a tutor than teacher for the whole class. It can also lead too dependent or even too comfortable with one teacher and one method or style of teaching. 7) The Facilitator: The teacher's main role is as a facilitator- there to offer support and advice when needed. The role of the facilitator is to guide, prepare, teach and help the child navigate through academic social environments, to make an comfortable within themselves and with others. Therefore, when we say the teacher has to paly the role of a facilitator in the classroom, this means that the teacher should not be the king who controls the activities of the learners. The teachers should grant the learners some space to let the sprits of creativity and innovation. In other words, the learners must get involved into an active participation that would be represented in argumentative discussions and teamwork activities, so that the process of learning become comprehensive and then teacher acting as a facilitator. 8) The Model: Teachers are Role Model, A role model is a person who inspires and encourages us to strive for greatness, live to our fullest potential and see the best in ourselves. A role model is someone we admire and some one we aspire to be like, is actually modeling the language acting as a model. 9) The Monitor: Monitoring goes on all the time, but particulary during speaking activities when the teacher is concerned with the general assessment of learner's performance in relation to general progess and recent language and skills development. Sometimes the present of the teacher in a supervising role is enough, but careful monitoring guarntees the best performance from the learners and provides the most instructive feedback for the teacher.Monitoring is a classroom management technique loosely defined as listening to the learners for their accuracy and fluency, or checking to see wheather activities are going to plan and that the learners 'on taask'.
