In this unit , I learnt how eye contact can be used in the classroom and good use of gestures can be effective and useful . What's more , as a teacher , my voice should change naturally according to the circumstances. A dull monotone will only create boredom . And I learnt the pros and cors of different ways of grouping the students , such as whole-class grouping , students working on their own , pair work and grop work .We should also organise the position of the students correctly , and avoid turning our backs to the students during board-work . There are many ways to avoid this . And we should know how to balance the teacher talking time and student talking time . Last but not least , I also learnt some practival ways to help establish rapport between teacher and students .
