Teacher is an important job for the society. As a teacher we can help to develop somebody's subject knowledge and maybe even their mind and personality. While teaching can certainly be a challenge, it is also one of the most rewarding careers out there. To be a good teacher, we should have many skills. Firstly, communication skills is the most important. Teaching in the classroom is effective or not, it depends on communication between teachers and learners. Teachers can use both verbal and non-verbal communication help students understand what is expected of them and help build their confidence in learning. Teachers can also use body language, positive word reinforcement and appropriate and effective language which is appropriate to student’s level. It inspires students to try, without fear that they will be judge unfairly. Secondly, teachers need to have classroom management skills because it is the process of ensuring that classroom lessons run smoothly without disruptive behavior from students compromising the delivery of instruction. Classroom management involves knowing the students well and placing them into appropriate learning groups. It also involves having an efficient discipline plan in place that student understand. Classroom management also deals with the use of time throughout the day. Students need to be on task, with very little down time, for the day to run smoothly. Good classroom management means planning well and including both physical activity and independent study to foster good habits in students. Thirdly, one of the other most important skills each teacher must have is leadership because our students need someone to guide them, to be in charge, and set the tone of the class. Teacher is likely as a leader of the class who decide the success of the class. This is a difficult skill, it requires teachers to develop ourselves all the time. We are always model for our students. They watch on us and copy us. We are who built knowledge, emotion, belief on them. Fourthly, teachers need technical skills in modern life. Teachers must, of course, understand the material they teach. Naturally, different positions require different types and levels of skill. Teachers must be able to perform the core responsibilities involved in the role, from comfortably using Microsoft Office to create materials to being comfortable providing disciplinary action as necessary. To be a good teacher, we need some more qualities than the skills that we said above. Teachers should have passion, with that we can do everything we want. We have to demonstrate patience, particularly when dealing with difficult classroom situations. This is the most important quality in all jobs. Then, enthusiasm is key when teaching a subject in order to keep the students engaged and enthusiastic themselves, particularly with young learners, children. More, teachers need to understand the psychology of students. It depends on their age, their character, their situations. We always create a good teaching environment where students can live their true life. In conclusion, a good teacher requires many things. We have to equip ourselves some skills and nutrition of our love with this job, with all our students. When we delicate our life, our passion, our love for this job, we will receive sweet fruits.
