After World War 2, the US became the richest nation on earth; therefore, English became an official language as an international language. People need to learn the international language to have a better life and be able to communicate with people all around the world. A single language will help to prevent misunderstanding. In order to communicate with people that do not know anything about your mother tongue, the best way would be using the international language. For some other reasons such as studying or working abroad, migration or traveling, knowing an international language would be helpful. For instance, as a non-native speaker of English, when you travel to other countries, you need to achieve some goals such as using facilities and recognizing tourist attractions in that country, so if you know the international language, you can communicate with people and they can help you to achieve your aims. Also, some people migrate to foreign countries to make more money, so they need to understand the directions. In addition, many of the world’s top films, music and books are published and produced in English. Therefore, by learning English, you will be able to have a great understanding. We should also keep in mind that the name for most inventions are English. We must learn English to be able to use them easier.
