This unit looked to introduce the basic concepts of teacher- student relationships. It gave an overview of the types of ways a teacher can interact with their students as well as the different types of learners that an ESL teacher may encounter in the classroom. I believe another important part of the unit was the clear distinctions between younger learners and adult learners. The age of your student will dictate what you choose to focus on when creating lesson plans and providing instruction and correction in the classroom.
