Unit 1 was about the roles of the teacher and students. The unit talked about what it means to be a good teacher and the roles that the teacher should play in the classroom. The teacher should not just be concerned about the lessons themselves, but on the student's lives and caring about each of them. There should be respect across the board for each student and a welcoming environment that fosters the students to open up to flourish in their learning. The Unit also gave a breakdown explaining the student's learning type paths from Beginning learners to Advanced.
