This unit obviously provided a more in depth view into English grammar and the different parts of speech that us native speakers use on a daily basis without actually realizing the types of speech we are in fact using. It explains the basic essentials to forming complete and accurate sentences in English and where each specific part of speech belongs in relation to the sentence itself. Everything from nouns to adjectives and verbs are discussed in detail in conjunction with the different types of each, and how they are used and identified. What I really enjoyed about this section was that it refreshed my memory with regards to English grammar terms such as adverbs, pronouns, and prepositions that I, as an English speaker, use everyday, but haven't studied or discussed since my English classes taken all the way through college graduation. This is the 'meat and potatoes' section as I like to call it and an essential one to continuously review to be successful in teaching English to foreign students as grammar tends to be a complicated and recurring problem for non-native speakers.
