This unit explained the different parts of speech that make up the English Language. Each part of speech explained in the unit gave examples to how each word must be used in order to make complete sense. Understanding the different types of parts of speech helped the learner to better understand how words can and should be joined together to make proper sentences that are grammatically correct and readable which is vital when writing good sentences.
