Being an assistant language teacher really proved to me that as native English speakers, we were not taught a lot about grammar and how sentences really fit together. So, from time to time, we find ourselves rampaging through Google trying to figure out the answer to certain grammar questions that may be put to us. This unit was very useful in that sense and turned on a lot of headlights in my head. It's very important that as English teachers, we are able to help our students better understand the semantics of the English language. However, in order for us to do that, we must first have a good grasp of the English grammar.
