When we think of the different components of English, we often will think of verb, adjective and noun. But there are so many different parts of speech, and with every sentence, every word should fall under some form of a part of speech. And before this lesson, I don't think I would have been able to correctly label words in a sentence. But this lesson taught me all of the different parts of speech, and the different rules that can help me better understand when each part of speech is used, and the order for sentence patterns. This lesson was really important because although some of it may seem very elementary, some of the rules are pretty complex and require a deeper understanding of how each part of speech is and can be used correctly.
