I have learnt from this unit that in English there are several parts of speech such as nouns, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns, verbs etc. I have also learnt how a part of speech indicates the word functions grammatically ( or as a meaning) in the senctence. Now, we should examine these parts of speech with an example: 'the young boy brought me a big new blue teddy bear.' In these sentence, the (article definite) young(adjectif that is used to describe the boy) boy is a noun, brought is a verb (past simple of bring) me (pronoun) , (a (article indefinite) big new blue (adjectives) teddy bear) ( object and at the same time teddy bear is a compound noun)
