This unit was unexpectedly precise and detailed. I feel as though many of these rules I have taken for granted as a native speaker and have admittedly forgotten since attending Primary level of school. Although I knew this before, learning Parts of Speech really embedded the fact that English is governed by set rules and yet there are so many unspoken rules and things that just need to be learned off because it simply cannot be explained. For example irregular, plural nouns like tooth and teeth. There was a very thorough explanation of each part of speech and lots of examples which made relearning parts of speech much easier.
