Unit 2 dealt with parts of speech in a sentence. Eight/Nine components of parts of speech were covered in good detail and examples: Nouns, Adjectives, Articles, Verbs, Adverbs, Gerunds, Pronouns, Prepositions, and Conjunctions. To be able to 'dissect' a sentence and understanding the function of each word in a sentence is the basic comprehension of the English grammar covered in this unit.
