This unit focused on the basics of sentence structure, including a brief introduction to the different parts of a sentence such as nouns, verbs, adjectives, and so on. While I am able to form complex sentences, most of my grammar skills are based on what sounds right, especially since I am a native English speaker. Therefore, this unit helped reintroduce to me the names of the different parts of speech. Additionally, it provided me with a solid base to refer to as I continue my studies.
