In Unit 2: Parts of Speech, I learned the most from the parts of speech section. I knew the basics such adjectives, nouns, verbs, etc. However, the most useful was the Gerunds. I did not have any knowledge prior to this course on those forms of verbs. I intend to use this section in future lessons with students as a reference guide. Furthermore, I appreciated the chart of verbs divided into regular and irregular forms along with their past simple and past principle forms. Overall, I feel that my knowledge in the parts of speech in the English language was greatly enhanced by studying this portion.
