The unit is very educative. I have learnt about the different types of parts of speech.I now know that in any given sentence, each and every word can be classified according to its purpose and the meanng it adds. Words in a sentence can be classified into nouns, pronouns, adjectives, articles, verbs, adverbs, gerunds, prepositions and conjunctions. These goups can be further sub-divided. In order to correctly classify a word in a sentence into its correct part of speech, one has to study how it has been used in a sentence.
