This lesson outlined the 4 main past forms and their usage. In English language, there are 4 Past Tenses: Past Simple, Past Continuous, Past Perfect Continuous, Past Perfect. Each tense can be used in different situations and can convey a different meaning. The past form of the verb differs, therefore some verbs can take a regular form, by adding "ed" at the end of the root, or an irregular form, in which case the forms have to me memorized.
