This unit covers the past tense (past simple, past perfect, and the related perfect tenses). I found the activities for the sample activate stages extremely engaging. I will definitely play the "detective game" when I teach the past continuous. Also, I will integrate "story telling" activities in my lessons for practicing past simple and past continuous tenses. The verb charts that highlight irregular past forms are quite helpful and user-friendly.
