As with past units, this unit on grammar was particularly enlightening. Native speakers of English rarely think too deeply about why they use the language they use and how it is all put together. This unit was rather challenging for me but I believe I now have a deeper understanding of English past tenses and I hope I will be able to convey it to my students in such a way that it can be educational and fun.
