It was interesting to see the progression of language instruction over time and the information was presented in such a way that I could understand why the evolution of language instruction has occurred. I am now able to better understand why my progress with the Spanish language has been slow as I have used primarily used Grammar-Translation along with repetition drills. Looking at myself, I now have a better understanding for the advantage of a formal classroom for language instruction.
