Games are a unique form of learning that helps make the experience of students interesting and exciting on multiple levels. The entertaining component of games makes the lesson emotionally colored. The emotionality of games activates the psychological processes and functions of the child. Another positive aspect of the game is that it promotes the use of knowledge in a new situation as the material acquired by students is put into practice, it also introduces diversity and promotes interest in the learning process. Games in the classroom are necessary since the value of the game in the psychological and pedagogical context is unquestionable. Provided an adequate attitude of adults to children's play and reasonable use of its powerful psychological and pedagogical potential the game can become the optimal tool that ensures the success of the child’s adaptation to the new situation, their effective socialization, mental and physical health. In the life of a child, games perform important functions, such as entertaining, communicative, therapeutic, diagnostic, correctional, the function of self-realization and socialization. At the same time games teach. They act as a method of training and education, as well as the application of accumulated experience. In the classroom play activities can be used in the following cases: as separate techniques for the comprehension of a concept or a topic; as an element of a more extensive technique; as a lesson or its part (introduction, explanation, exercise); as methods of extracurricular work. The game form of activities is created in the classroom with the help of techniques and situations that should act as a means of motivating and encouraging students to learn. The implementation of game techniques and situations in the classroom is performed in the following main ways: the didactic goal is set for students in the form of a game challenge; learning activities are subject to the rules of the game; learning material is used as its means; competitions are introduced into educational activities that contribute to the transition of didactic tasks to the category of games; successful execution of the didactic assignment is associated with the game result. Implementation of games is usually met by children with joy because they satisfy their inherent drive for play. The teacher lays engaging tasks and actions into a game's basis. The use of such intrinsic elements as mystery, intrigue, clues, search and discovery, the expected and the unexpected, the game's development, the competition, stimulates mental activity and motivates children and helps to ensure a conscious perception of educational and cognitive material, teaches them reasonable intensity of thought and perseverance, develops autonomy. At the same time, the game reception should not distract children from the educational content, but on the contrary, attract even more attention to it. When choosing a game, the teacher should strive for the naturalness of its use, which is dictated, on the one hand, by the logic of the game, and on the other, by the tasks set by the teacher. The result of the activity is the successful fulfillment of the didactic task. That is why various games increase children's interest in a particular subject area and activate their mental potential.
