This chapter primarily focused on methods of developing lesson plans, and an explanation as well as the implementation of ESA or Engage, Study, Activate. The ESA teaching style can be defined in 3 parts but also has three different variations of execution, Straight arrow, boomerang, and patchwork. The chapter also discussed when, and how, to appropriately correct students in addition to recognizing the difference in an error an a mistake.
