This unit was very useful for me. It covers such points as vocabulary, grammar and functions. Teaching vocabulary is very important to the students. Students need to know vocabulary items as meaning, use, word grammar, interaction, spelling and pronunciation. As it was already mentioned there are three techniques for vocabulary teaching: engage, study and activate. For introducing grammatical structures we need to know a meaning, use, forms and patterns, written and spoken form. I found out about teaching language functions. It includes: inviting, refusing, agreeing, disagreeing and suggesting.
