This unit allows me to focus on encouraging students to gain exposure to new vocabulary, understand the meanings, and learn to construct sentences then practice what they have learnt. Making sure the vocabulary selected is relevant to the audience’s age and ability, and the techniques employed vary to ensure students remain attentive. I can see the opportunities to add new words progressively through the course at a pace relevant to the student’s ability.
