This unit gave me a good understanding of how to group English tenses, as well as more detailed knowledge of the present tenses. I was aware of how to use the tenses, but did not necessarily have the knowledge on when to use each tense that I would need to successfully teach them to others. The most helpful aspect of the unit, for me, was the hints on how to incorporate activities for each tense into a lesson; for example, having students describe graphs or charts in order to practice using the present continuous form, or having students try to guess changes to the room in order to practice using the present perfect.
