This section dealt with sentence structure, tense, and verb conjugation. The part of the lesson that stood out to me was the subtlety of each case. In a practical lesson, these ideas are more complex than a new English speaker needs to be concerned with. The most useful information presented was the conjugation of verbs based on speaker (first/third person singular/plural). These techniques set English apart from other languages, such as Japanese or Vietnamese, that rely on context rather than verb conjugation to discern when the discussion refers to.
