Raising the need of teaching one to one to be often viewed as being caused by plenty of advantages of this method. It is agreed that teaching one to one is very different, challenging and special comparing to teaching traditional group. Firstly, this essay will discuss the reasons why teaching one to one classes is different from teaching group and secondly, it will discuss the advantages coming from the difference between two approaches It is true that the number of participant is chalk and cheese. Teacher has only a student. Secondly, classroom layout is no need to spend a lot of time to set up. Essential equipment and distance, sound level must be adjusted appropriately for two people are simple requests. Third is the document. The class’s materials are based on the level of the student and will be more specific than, not as available as general class. Student can also bring his/her own materials which relate to issues that he/she wants to improve. In addition, tutoring time can be more flexible than normal class. They both agree on learner's calendar, and if student does not understand or might need more time, the lesson will be extended, as well as higher productive sessions may end sooner. Moreover, teaching one to one can enhance more sessions because of focusing on specific objectives of student such as taking a certificate within a limited time. Besides these features, class rules are also simpler. The relationship between teacher and student will be closer because of the direct, continuous connection, more like mentoring. The pressure in the one to one class is different in teacher and in student. Student makes him/her more comfortable without the afraid of judging from other friends. Teacher may feel more or less pressure depending on the difference between the learning needs and the student's level. Of course, the cost is more expensive. Without any doubts, the first strength of teaching one to one is to help learner achieve optimal results because the course will be tailored to the needs, abilities, and time of student. It is saving time as well. For example, instead of taking a lot of time for traditional courses, tutoring can shorten the time and student can do other things. It is such an effective way to save time for busy people who are unable to arrange traditional classes in traditional time frames due to the nature of the their current work. In teaching one to one class, the amount of time that is displayed in comments or feedback does not need to wait. Furthermore, student’s confidence will not affected by classmates. Student absolutely has more attention from teacher. Apart from that, profound help from teacher, high motivation, concentration and investment of responsibility lead to a rapid and visible progress. Being flexible on schedule is another great positive aspect of teaching one to one. The evidence was mention above as the characteristic of teaching one to one. Another reason is that it would help learner have more motivation and responsibility for learning. For instance, they include clear identification, money investment. Teaching one to one assured more solid output based on student’s goals and plans to achieve both goals and commitment. Last but not least is finding out the biggest gap of student. While studying with one teacher, student will show the most clearly about himself/herself. Thereby teacher can fully find out the limitations of students and focus on improving. With the above benefits, the tutoring also has some limitations. First is less interactive environment than the group: students will interact with the material and interact directly with the teacher. Communicating with different friends allows student to gain experience with different levels. However, study and interact with very qualified people (teachers), students will be trained with the most difficulty. When mastering the most difficult situation, adapting is completely easy for different subjects. Second is more expensive: more money will be spent comparing a regular course. It is clear that hard decision makes easy life. To think twice, it is more expensive about money but much more profitable in time, which is a huge profit, even cheaper than traditional learning. Lastly, because of tutoring, the schedule will be more flexible for students and teachers especially busy students. Therefore, it is easy to lead to changing schedules and canceling schedules so learning may be delayed if the change occurs frequently and frequently. This requires teacher and student to raise their awareness. As teachers, knowing the characteristics, benefits and limitations of tutoring in order to design the most effective learning methods and show the talent in flexible response to different learning needs and different learning objects. The courses that are encouraged appropriate design in the highest level of student’s ability. This is a prerequisite to help student achieve th e highest results and still not completely exceed the limit In conclusion teaching one to one is an optimal measure and demand is increasing thanks to its many benefits
