This unit discussed the content and forms of lessons which deal with vocabulary, grammatical structures, and language functions. It provided suggestions for how to choose and teach vocabulary - usually employing the straight-arrow style - and gave examples of sample lessons and types of activities used in each phase. Language functions avail themselves to more creative lessons, using boomerang or patchwork styles. This unit was interesting to me, describing possible fun class scenarios.
