Unit 2 focused on the basic grammar structures. Additionally it addressed students’ difficulties understanding specific concepts and methods how to incorporate helpful teaching techniques for mentioned issues. Although the majority of the grammar related subjects was not new to me, I could learn a few more details about the verbs. For instance, I did not know the precise difference between a transitive and an intransitive verb. In conclusion, the well structured presentation of the subject helped me to gain a better overall understanding of “parts of speech”.
