Much of this unit consisted of material I already knew. I achieved quite high scores in English growing up and in my high school IB diploma and in college. It was nice to review some of the more specific concepts that I know in practice but not in theory. It was nice to review gerunds as I had just classified them in my head as nouns. Reviewing the kinds of pronouns was helpful as well as transitive and intransitive verbs. All in all, though, I didn't learn that much from this unit but it was a great refresher on basics that I will have to teach to students as an English teacher.
