From this unit I've leant about different parts of speech. There are nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, articles, pronouns, gerunds, prepositions and conjunctions. About nouns i've learnt that they can be common, compound, proper, collective, abstract and plural, and also they can be countable or uncountable. All verbs we can divide into transitive and intransitive. Also we have infinitives, and regular and irregular verbs, which we can use in different forms, like base form, past simple form, past participle form and present participle form. This unit helped me to repeat all the irregular verbs in past simple and past participle forms, and I found out that some of them were already forgotten. Also I've learnt about three auxiliary verbs, which are usually used to help form all tenses. Also in this unit I've repeated comparative and superlative adjectives. The most difficult and important part for me was the part about definite and indefinite articles. This part had many rules and expectations in using or not using articles in sentences. When we use "the" and where we don't. I'm going to repeat these rules over and over again. Also I've learnt about all types of adverbs, which was quite interesting and not so easy. Also I've learnt about gerund, which is ING form of the verb, but used as a noun. About pronouns I've learnt that they help to connect clauses in a sentence and can be personal, possessive, reflexive and relative. I was surprised that words such as "my", "our" or "your" are not pronouns, but possessive adjectives! Now I think i've learnt that. About prepositions I've learnt that we can divide them into time, pace or movement prepositions. If we want to join some words in a sentence, we are using conjunctions. All the information in this unit was very important and useful. I red everything very carefully, and it helped me to improve my language knowledge and to learn more about parts of the speech.
