This unit extensively covers the structure and use of English grammar. It is particularly useful as many English speakers are not specifically taught these rules, but simply pick them up as they grow and learn English by observation and practice. While some of it is likely common knowledge to educated speakers (nouns, verbs, adjectives etc.), there were certainly parts of the unit that are not covered well in traditional schooling. In my case, I have never come across a formal rule for categorical ordering of adjectives, but could not argue with the examples provided. There were right and wrong answers that were obvious intuitively, but I had not encountered these rules written down until this unit. The specific examples illustrating the differences in grammar forms were also useful (such as the difference between transitive vs. intransitive verbs).
