Unit 2 focused on the different parts of speech such as verbs, adjectives, nouns, adverbs, etc. Each one of the parts of speech can take on different forms/uses. Nouns can be common, proper, compound, abstract, or collective while adjectives can be used as comparisons or superlatives. Verb form was also explained in this unit. I found it helpful that the unit gave a large list of irregular verbs and their various forms. The most helpful portion of this unit was the reminder of what a gerund was and how to use and teach it.
