After studying this unit I refreshed my memory about different parts of speech in English. Here are abovementioned: noun, verb, adjective, pronoun, conjunction, preposition, definite and indefinite articles. Almost each part of speech is divided into groups, e.g., verbs can be transitive or intransitive. Some of the parts of speech can be studied using strict logical rules, for example, a proper noun always must start with a capital letter. However, some of them can be studied only by learning them by heart, for example, distinguishing irregular verbs from regular ones.
