This Unit describes ten different methodologies. In these descriptions, we are able to understand where do they come from, which are the learning skills involve and the positive and negative characteristics of each of them. This information has been useful for me to take a self-evaluation and also analyze deeply how to meet the main needs of my students. Having to know the ESA methodology and its possible variations lighted my approach to teaching. Furthermore, the correction techniques have instructed me about the importance of helping students to embrace mistakes and errors since this is key to explore the language.
