This unit focused on the theory of teaching English as a second language. This course will focus on the ESA method (Engage - Study - Activate). The Engage portion's purpose is to get the all of the students to use English before getting into the subject matter. The Study portion is where the students will learn new material. The focus should be on using the new study point correctly, and correction should be given during this portion. The Activate portion is where the student will apply what they have learned in practical scenarios. Since the purpose of this scection is fluency, activities should not be interupted, and correction should only be given at the end.
