The most difficult part for me in this unit is learning the terminology referring to specific lesson plans and teaching methods. For example, "patchwork" does not seem to be an intuitive name for a lesson that uses a variety of patterns of the engage-study-activate pattern. For me a more intuitive name would have been "variable lesson" rather than "patchwork". I understand the need for common terminology to provide effective communication between educators, however, it does not come natural to me and will likely be something I will struggle with.
