Teaching in a foreign country has been a challenge because of culture differences so this unit has reinforced the need to ensure that the culture aspect is looked into to have better control of ones class. I can safely say now I am better equipped to know how to deal with bad behavior, how to organize the students seating and how to even group them for various activities. I have to say the horseshoe arrangement that I observed at my new job will make the class more interesting: better view of the whole class, easier to organize students and monitoring will be a piece of cake.
