I have learned from this unit how to properly manage a class. It takes organization and forethought to maintain proper order in a classroom, especially if it is a large class. I have learned much about how to use eye contact, gestures, and my voice to communicate to the class what I expect of them, while trying to keep teacher talk time to a minimum. I also appreciated the information about how to administer discipline when needed and how to build a good rapport between myself and the students as well as between students themselves.
