The unit is teaching about class management. As a teacher I've to make the class entertaining, interactive and the students feel self confident. Here i learned of eye contact, gestures and using my voice. Eye contact encourages contribution from students,draws thier attention and maintain discipline in a classroom. Gestures like conveying the meaning of language, reduce verbal expressions. This can be done through individual action in which 5he teacher is sure the students will understand. Voice will depend on the type,level and lesson involved. Voice is used on calling names,grouping students(pairwork) Class management helps us pass information to learners,maintain discipline and various ways include Orderly row,separating tables,as well as the teachers position in the course of the lesson( especially when writing on rhe board, avoid backing the students). This can be limited or avoided by using flashcards, projectors,while giving individual attention to students like practicing .Apart from maintaining discipline, i have to avoid threads,keep it calm and keeping to the school code of conducts too
