Tenses in English seem so much more difficult than other languages. I don't relish the thought of teaching them. The inconsistencies and the large number of irregular verb conjugations seem especially frustrating. I liked the idea of teaching by asking students to tell a story backwards. I suppose they could be done with a story written by the students previously in another activity. I'll have to find a good grammar book.
