Through this unit, I've learnt the system and structure of the past tenses which are Past Simple, Past Continuous, Past Perfect and Past Perfect Continuous. I've realised that depending on the form you are using, it will have different features. For example, continuous structures features the forms of the verb 'to be' and the 'ing' form of the verb. Although the usage of the structure of past tense were confusing, later on through the tutorial videos it was easier to understand. Giving as an example, the usage of the past perfect continuous express duration of a long action in the past before another action.
