In this unit I was refreshed on the structure behind our seemingly confusing past tenses. Invaluable information to teaching a class in English and information that as a native english speaker I take completely for granted. Being able to appropriately categorize irregular and regular tenses and clearly define them seems to me to be important in the acquisition of the english language.
