I learned in this lesson that the basic grammar of tenses is relatively similar for past and present. However I did notice that there are a lot of irregular verbs, that unfortunately for students, they will just have to memorize. Something that I have to learn to teach myself from this lesson is how to explain the usages of each of the different forms of the tenses, especially the past continuous and past perfect continuous.
