We focused on the ESA method in unit three which will be the primary form of teaching in this course as we are new teachers. ESA is an acronym that stands for Engage, Study, Activate. We also reviewed some of the other methods of teaching that we will find out in the real world and the unit covered how they work and how they don't work. ESA has three forms which are the straight arrow, the boomerang, and the patchwork method. I like the explanation of the ESA method as it is something that I currently use in teaching my German language students.
