In this unit I learned how to structure my lessons in order to get my students interested before moving on to more detailed material. I also learned the important distinction between errors and mistakes. Mistakes happen by slight of pen or mouth and are easily corrected by the student either prompted or unprompted, and an error is a symptom of a deeper problem in their language learning. Errors will also help me direct my teaching to better suit their learning needs.
