This unit focused on teaching methods and techniques. I found it very enlightening to review all the different teaching techniques and how they can be used separately and together. As stated in the lesson there is no right way to teach or learn. I found ESA- engage, study, activate to be enlightening as a way to teach students while keeping them envovled. Showing that you can have different types of these lessons depending on the level you are teaching made a lot of sense. I liked that it would be tailored for beginners with straight arrow or for intermediate with patchwork. It allows for high talk time for the students while allowing the teacher to monitor and make corrections later while still encouraging them to make mistakes and learn from them.
