Wow!What a wonderful study unit this has been. I learned so much about the Methology of how to teach the language and where it came from. What it means,what it involves and the positive and negative points to each. I learned about the Classical method. Which basically means translation. It is the most widely used over time but it has negative aspects when the grammer is different. Audio, which I think ESA has taken the drill part of this method and applies it to ESA. This particular method is effective in learning vocabulary but has a negative when the realistic context is not applied. The silent way , seems to be so distant for the teacher. And it seems to be such a time consuming style which I really don't like. Suggestopedia seems to have a great theory behind the learning of a language but fails because it is simply not that easy and it just to different to be used in the mainstream. TPR, is for sure the most impressive out of all those i have named. But it will work great for the young learners but not for the older children. ESA is by far my favorite method.
