What I realized throughout my study of this unit is that there are many approaches and methods of teaching that they cannot be counted on the hands toes, some are traditional in nature and some others seem to be developed earlier. However, what appears to be common amongest all of them is that they all target the learner's capability of learning or gaining knowledge or learning a language in particular. the differences are widely noticed an approaches and methodologies as there are those which put accent on the learner as an atcive and important brick of the whole, whereas others have emphasis upon the teacher in teaching-learning process. There are some others assess that there should be balanced communication and participation between the teacher and the learner in order to achieve a successful instruction. Good environment, atmosphere as well as knowing the culture and the background of the learner play a major role in the teaching-learning process. In addition to all that, the teacher has to be creative and artistic in his instructing mission and always maintain a good teaching environment and smoothly drive the lesson using the appropriate techniques that suit the current situation.
